Anna University results

Hi friends anna university results for the 8th semester exams are released yesterday evening . My friend selva called me and ask me to see the result . I went to see the result and i cleared all the papers and i got 82 percentage, so i thought my overall percentage will rise upto 3 percentage , but when i calculated the total aggregate i got only 70.54 . Till last semester i had the aggregate of 70.31 . I am very much confused about this, help me .
My calculation is , all the marks from first to last semester and then i divided by 67 subjects . . . Is this a correct way of calculating the aggregate?

Yes boss..! You are correct…. when you calculate the same way at the end of the 8th semester, there is a chance of getting even more lesser percentage… Some people will calulate (1st sem percent + 2nd sem percent + 3 sem percent)/3.. but this is not correct, but your calculation is correct…

Yes dude, Nothing to get confused here, what you have calculated is correct. Same situation here. till last sem i had 71.9 and now 72.59. Just be happy that you have B.E with first class.

It’s how it should be. To get my % up by 1% I had to get > 100 this semester. Imagine.

If u want I’ll provide u with d university’s no 22203010,spoke with them they said even d correction is not yet over and d results will be published only in d first week of july.. Consulted 2 to 3 lecturers who r doing correction of d university papers,they also gave the same feedback only.. I’m sick and tired of dis university

@sandhya my friend placed in infosys he got his joining date on 23 of this mounth . so he call to anna university , they said the result will be coming on 15th of june . . i also asked my staffs and they said corrections are over . . . . mark entry is going now

@thiyagu 20 is some wat good mark i heard many single digit and less than 20 marks . . If u r MBC r SC its a good mark but BC its an decent mark

My friend has gone to anna university for collecting d application for pursuing higher studies. It seems they said that we can expect the results from 15-20th of dis month. Let’s keep our fingers crossed and hope for d best

I called to anna university regarding result they said it will come in July 1st week i asked its confirmed ha they said its sure .. to verify it i called again on next day they repeat the same answer. So we wait till first week of July that’s it…
